Maintenance supervisor

The role of the maintenance supervisor is to lead the people of this facility in their respective discipline in order to plan and execute all work according to the maintenance processes in a safe and efficient manner.

Other main responsibilities are:

- Lead your team (work preparators, maint technicians and EH&S technician)

- Aligns with overall maintenance department goals through cooperation with the team

- Provides performance feedback and facilitates goal setting.

- Advocates company values

- Implements life saving rules and other safety procedures within the maintenance organisation and assures they are followed.

- Assures all maintenance jobs meet regulatory and operational excellence requirements

- Implements maintenance work processes

- Decides in close collaboration with the operations supervisor what the maintenance priorities are

- Ensures support is provided when ever this is needed

- First contact for third party’s  maintenance organisation for maintenance activities on shared assets

- Enables the local team to work safe and efficiently by providing the right tools and support

- Organises unit shutdowns.

- Reviews and agrees priority with operations 

- Ensures work preparation can be done in time (resource capability) and with the right quality (TOS)

- Ensures alignment for cross disciplinary work, in time & safe work execution, checks quality, according to the maintenance work process.

-  Is responsible for the maintenance budget.

- Bachelor Mechanical engineering or equivalent (HBO)

- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.

- Knowledge of related maintenance and engineering disciplines

- Experience in a leadership role

- Knowledge of ERP systems such as MMS/SAP
